Summer Camping Trip

It's time to publish details of our summer weekend away. On August bank holiday (26-29th) we will be heading off to Sunbury Court, Sunbury on Thames for a fun-packed weekend. This year we even have use of a log cabin with 14 beds for those who prefer not to be in tent! Let us know if you fancy coming along - we always enjoy one another's company and have a good time.

Prayer stations

At our Easter celebration on Stepney City Farm a couple of months ago we planted some seeds as a symbol of our prayers to keep the Easter story alive. We hadn't been back on the farm since so were pleasantly surprised on a visit yesterday to see the seeds had grown as evidenced here!

And today, we celebrated Pentecost. We prayed asking God to transform us through his Holy Spirit. We then displayed some of our written prayers with Acts 2 in mind: 'When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force—no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building. Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks.'

Hope Football Academy

The Hope Football Academy launched in October 2012 meets each Tuesday evening (during term time) from 5.30-7pm in Stepney Green Park for an hour long session with qualified football coaches. We do training, play games and have a lot of fun. Occasionally we will play matches against other teams.
