What is the connection between our Good Neighbours project and a British Olympic gold medal winner at the Beijing Olympics?! Well, often on Good Neighbours Sundays our volunteers can be seen on Whitehorse Lane cutting the hedge of one of the older residents of the Ocean Estate. For some time we've been aware that John Hunter's grandson was an Olympic medal hope in rowing but we were really delighted to see Mark Hunter bring home a gold medal in the 'Lightweight Double Scull'. Read about it here... And well done to John.
